Install in one tap
The app is on this phone. Look for the SanatanBodh icon on your home screen.
No button? Follow the steps for your phone below.
What the app gives you
- A SanatanBodh icon on your home screen that opens the site full screen, like an app.
- Press and hold the icon for shortcuts to: today’s panchang, today’s choghadiya, moonrise and festivals (on Android).
- Everything on the site: panchang, muhurats, aartis and chalisas, vrat kathas and the birth panchang.
On Android (Chrome)
- If you see “Install now” above, tap it, then “Install”.
- If there is no button, open Chrome’s ⋮ menu at the top right and choose “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
- Tap “Install”. The icon appears on your home screen.
On iPhone (Safari)
- Open sanatanbodh.in in Safari.
- Tap the Share button at the bottom (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Choose “Add to Home Screen” in the list, then tap “Add” at the top.
Opened the link from WhatsApp or Instagram?
There the site opens in their own browser, which cannot install apps. Use the ⋮ or ··· menu to choose “Open in Chrome” or “Open in browser”, then follow the steps above.
Good to know
- Nothing is downloaded from the Play Store or App Store; the app takes very little space.
- The app asks for no permissions. It needs the internet to show the panchang.
- To remove it, press and hold the icon and choose “Remove” or “Uninstall”.
