By the text Sati’s left foot fell here, and the goddess is Bhramari and the Bhairava Ishvara (Ambara); West Bengal Tourism called it the "Trisrota Maa Bhramari Shakti Temple".

- The West Bengal Tourism page placed the village as "Shalbari of Falakata in Jalpaiguri district"; Falakata block is now in Alipurduar district, and no district website confirmed the village. So no map is given here.
- The count of pithas depends on the text: the Pithanirnaya lists 51, some Bengali lists 52, the Devi Bhagavata (7.30) gives 108 places with names of the goddess, and the early Tantras name only four (Sircar).
