How these days were chosen
Each day, from sunrise to the next sunrise, was checked minute by minute for nakshatra, tithi, weekday and lunar month (amanta) by the rules for griha pravesh, and for Venus and Jupiter not being combust; only a stretch of at least 5 minutes counts. The rules were matched against Drik Panchang’s list and its day-by-day notes. The full rules: Griha Pravesh muhurat 2026-27
We publish only the days on which our calculation and Drik Panchang’s list agree within 5 minutes at both ends.
