Frequently asked questions
Is my name sent or saved anywhere?
No. The card is drawn in your browser. Your name and chosen verse do not reach our server.
What are the muhurat times on the card based on?
The same calculation as on the Navratri and Dussehra pages: Ghatasthapana by Drik Panchang’s rule (the first third of the day in Pratipada, avoiding Chitra and Vaidhriti, in a dual-sign lagna), and the Vijay muhurat as the eleventh muhurta of the day. For New Delhi the times match Drik Panchang within a minute.
