Translation
If you are slain you will attain heaven; if you win you will enjoy the earth. Therefore rise, son of Kunti, resolved to fight.
या तो तू युद्ध में मारा जाकर स्वर्ग पाएगा, या जीतकर पृथ्वी का राज्य भोगेगा। इसलिए हे कौंतेय, युद्ध का निश्चय करके उठ खड़ा हो।
Explanation
In action done for the sake of dharma, even defeat is not defeat. Whatever the outcome, one who fulfils their duty receives its reward. The "uttishtha" (arise) of 2.3 returns here, now backed by reasoning.
