यततो ह्यपि कौन्तेय पुरुषस्य विपश्चितः ।
इन्द्रियाणि प्रमाथीनि हरन्ति प्रसभं मनः ॥ ६० ॥

The turbulent senses, son of Kunti, forcibly carry away the mind even of a wise person who is striving.

हे कौंतेय, मथ डालने वाली इंद्रियाँ प्रयत्न करते हुए बुद्धिमान पुरुष के मन को भी बलपूर्वक हर लेती हैं।

Explanation

Shri Krishna warns that the senses are very powerful; even a wise and striving person cannot escape them without vigilance. So it is not right to be proud of one’s knowledge.
