Translation

ENGLISH

Happy are the warriors, son of Pritha, who get such a battle that comes of its own accord, an open door to heaven.

Explanation

Arjuna did not seek out this war; it has come before him of its own accord after the efforts for peace failed. Shri Krishna says that such an opportunity to do one’s duty is good fortune, not a burden.
