Translation
My nature is overcome by weakness and my mind is confused about my duty. I ask you: tell me for certain what is good for me. I am your disciple; teach me, for I have taken refuge in you.
Explanation
This is the turning point of the Gita. Until now Arjuna was offering arguments; here he admits that his understanding is confused, becomes Shri Krishna’s disciple and takes refuge in him. In the tradition, it is from this moment that the Gita is regarded as a dialogue between guru and disciple.
