जन्मकर्मफलप्रदाम्which yields birth and the fruits of action
क्रियाविशेषबहुलाम्abounding in special rituals
भोगैश्वर्यगतिम् प्रतिaimed at gaining pleasure and power

Translation

ENGLISH

Full of desires, with heaven as their highest goal, they speak words full of elaborate rites aimed at pleasure and power, which lead only to rebirth as the fruit of action.

Explanation

Such rituals may bring heaven or happiness as their fruit, but it is temporary and brings one back into the cycle of birth. The goal of the Gita is higher than this: liberation from bondage.
